Число жертв тайфуна Хагибис, обрушившегося на Японию, достигло 35 человек.
Пропавшими без вести числятся как минимум 19 человек, а общее число людей, получивших травмы — 180 человек.

В спасательных и поисковых операциях задействованы 27 тысяч японских военных.
Тайфун вызвал разлив 21 реки на острове Хонсю. Больше всего в результате наводнений пострадали префектуры Нагано, Сайтама и Мияги.
