Замок Геделон во Франции: как эксперимент века стал туристическим объектом

Во французской коммуне Треньи вот уже почти 20 лет строят замок Геделон (Chateau de Guedelon) из материалов и в соответствии с технологиями 13-го века. Строительство замка планируют завершить к 2030 году, пишет ФотоТелеграф.

Отец этого проекта – Мишель Гюйо, пишет Культурология. В 1979 году этот страстный любитель истории купил вскладчину с братом Жаком замок Сен-Фарго. Постройка была в ужасном состоянии, но годы труда помогли братьям реставрировать замок и сделать его туристическим объектом. Со временем Мишелю все чаще приходила мысль: как хорошо было бы самим построить новый средневековый замок, чтобы понять, как это делалось в те времена! Так и родился проект Guédelon.

На этой стройке вы не увидите ни бетономешалок, ни автомобилей, ни подъемных кранов. Уникальность проекта заключается в том, что строители работают точно по технологиям XIII века! Умелые руки энтузиастов и наемных строителей разбивают камни грубыми кувалдами, обтесывают лес железными топорами, готовят известковый раствор и поднимают стройматериалы, натягивая веревку на барабан. При этом рабочие даже одеты в средневековые робы.

Иначе нельзя: хотя строительство современного средневекового замка закончится не скоро, он уже сейчас привлекает тысячи туристов. Собственно, 300 000 посетителей в год: это крупнейший туристический объект в регионе. Путешествуя по строящемуся замку, посетители видят, как это делалось тогда, и поражаются изобретательности средневековых мастеров. Строители тоже не внакладе: Guédelon – это не только полсотни рабочих мест, но и возможность для реконструкторов Средневековья получить бесценные знания и опыт.
